Parliament has terminated the mandate of Servant of the People MP Andriy Kholodov on his request. The decision was backed by 308 votes, according to Voice faction MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak.

Earlier, Kholodov said he was resigning because of a family member falling sick.

On 28 July, journalists of the Skhemy investigative project said that Kholodov had left Ukraine in January 2023 and never returned. They suggested he could be based either in his mansion in Cyprus or in Vienna where his wife is building a beauty business.

With Kholodov out of parliament, he will be replaced by Mykola Tararin, who was No 147 on the Servant of the People's election list.

Born in 1979, during the 2019 election campaign Tararin worked for the Gelon law firm which represented Kvartal 95, Volodymyr Zelenskyy's former comic troupe, according to CHESNO Movement NGO.

According to YouControl, Tararin is also a beneficiary of the law firm Consion. The owner of both was Serhiy Ionushas, an MP from the Servant of the People party, according to CHESNO Movement.
