The head of the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, Iryna Vereshchuk, has denied rumours that she is moving to the Ministry of Defence.

On social media, she commented on the reaction of some in the political and media community to her previous post about how long the war with Russia would last and noted that there were no personnel changes planned.

"...Some of my 'fans' are also very concerned about the latest rumours about me in the context of possible reshuffles in the Ministry of Defence. To reassure those who were hurt or concerned by my post yesterday... There is no question of my transfer to the Ministry of Defence. I am working where I am," the minister said.

Last month, the head of the presidential office, Andriy Yermak, said that speculations about Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov's potential dismissal were not true. Earlier, an official statement was issued by the head of the Servant of the People faction, Davyd Arakhamiya. According to him, the Defence Ministry will be headed by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kyrylo Budanov, while Reznikov will head the Ministry of Strategic Industries.
