Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to advance south of Bakhmut and gain foothold at the positions they have reached, reported the General Staff’s spokesman Andriy Kovalev to the Military Media Center.
According to him, the Ukrainian soldiers fire artillery on detected enemy targets, carry out counter-battery actions.
At the same time, the Defence Forces repelled enemy attacks in Donetsk, Kharkiv and Luhansk regions. Combat clashes are intense.
"The enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the areas of Senkivka of Kharkiv Region, Belogorivka of Luhansk Region, Bohdanivka and Byla Hora of Donetsk Region," Kovalev said.
Yesterday the Armed Forces were successful in the direction south of Urozhany in Donetsk Region.
Also, soldiers of the 22nd separate mechanised brigade destroyed a camouflaged stronghold of the Russian occupiers in the Bakhmut direction.
