On the night of 18 August, Russians shelled the village of Komyshuvakha, Zaporizhzhya Region. An educational institution was destroyed and houses were damaged.
This was reported in Telegram by the head of Zaporizhzhya Regional Military Administration Yuriy Malashko.
"At night, the enemy deceitfully attacked Komyshuvakha. Two strikes with guided aerial bombs hit a residential area," he said.
The shelling destroyed a local educational institution. The blast wave and shrapnel damaged nearby residential buildings: the facades were smashed and windows were broken.
Experts are currently recording the consequences of the destruction and helping to eliminate them.
During 17 August, the occupiers hit 79 times in 20 settlements of Zaporizhzhya Region. There were 22 reports of the destruction of private houses. No injured.
