As of this morning, 148 people have sought medical assistance as a result of the Russian missile attack on Chernihiv a day earlier, Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv regional military administration, has said.
There are still 41 people in the city's hospitals, and 15 people have been operated on.
According to Chaus, inspections of residential buildings and institutions are underway to assess the level of damage.
More than 500 flats in about 60 buildings are already known to have been damaged.
On 19 August, Russians fired a ballistic missile at Chernihiv, hitting the Drama Theatre in the city centre. As of the evening, seven people were reported dead and 144 injured. The fatalities include one child. Fifteen more children and 15 police officers were wounded.
The Russian army launched a missile strike on the Drama Theatre when drone manufacturers and aerial reconnaissance training schools had an assembly there as part of the Angry Birds demo day. The city declared three days of mourning.
