President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is convinced that the Russian missile strike on Kostiantynivka was deliberate. He said this at a press conference after talks with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
"I have been to Kostyantynivka many times with my team, and anyone who knows this place knows that it is a civilian place, there are no military units nearby. The strike is deliberate, we understand that they are doing the same thing as before, when there are certain positive offensive steps by the Ukrainian defence forces," he said.
"We understand that they killed deliberately. I know that there are already statements from the Russian side that some of our aircraft hit something in the wrong place. We understand what is happening there, what kind of aircraft they hit us with," the president added.
Zelenskyy emphasised that "defeating this Russian terror is a task for all of us, everyone in the world, Ukrainians, our partners."
Today the Russian army attacked Kostiantynivka in Donetsk Region. It is known that 16 people were killed. Dozens of people were injured. The rubble is being cleared.
