The head of the Servant of the People faction in parliament, David Arakhamyia, has announced that the appointment of a new head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine will be considered. According to him, the candidate is Vitaliy Koval, head of the Rivne regional military administration. Arakhamyia wrote about this on Telegram.
"Another appointment of the week is the new head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPFU). The candidate is Vitaliy Koval, head of the Rivne RMA," he wrote.
Earlier, Arakhamia announced the dismissal of one of the ministers, but did not say which one.
Until 5 September, the State Property Fund of Ukraine was headed by Rustem Umerov, who is now the Minister of Defence. It was expected that the Fund would be headed by Olha Pishchanska, who was the head of the Antimonopoly Committee. However, her candidacy was never submitted for consideration.
Koval became the head of the Rivne RMA in 2019. In 2020, the Servant of the People nominated him as a candidate for mayor of Rivne, but the winner was the Eurosolidarity candidate Oleksandr Tretyak, who has now been removed from the mayor's office for a corruption offence.
