The Head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, said that as part of the implementation of the approved Presidential Action Plan Bring Kids Back UA, two more Ukrainian children were brought home. These are Yegor and Valeria, born in 2009 and 2015. They came with their grandmother.

"These children were born in Crimea and ended up in the care of their grandmother due to the death of their father and the deprivation of their mother's parental rights. Given that the youngest granddaughter is not a blood relative of the grandmother, the preparation of the relevant documents took some time, which did not allow them to leave the occupied Crimea earlier," the statement said.

After the full-scale invasion of Russia, the occupation administration intensified pressure on people who hold pro-Ukrainian views. The grandmother decided to leave Crimea with her children. She appealed to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights for assistance in moving with the minors.

Yermak said that the Ukrainian team helped the family to leave for Ukraine. A legend was developed, which the family used in their contacts with representatives of the occupation authorities and the special services of the aggressor country. They are now in Kyiv.
