A month ago, the enemy began to actively storm Avdiyivka in Donetsk Region. Since then, the Defence Forces have killed about 10,000 Russian troops, General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Facebook.
According to the report, the Armed Forces eliminated more than 100 enemy tanks, 250 other armoured vehicles, about fifty artillery systems and seven Su-25 aircraft over the month. Total enemy losses in manpower amounted to about 10,000 people.
"I thank the brigades, our units. Infantry, artillery, tankers, scouts, UAV operators, medics. I thank every defender who is defending Avdiyivka. I bow my head to those on the shield. Eternal memory and honour," said C’n’C of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valeriy Zaluzhnyy.
