President Volodymyr Zelenskyy chaired a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff.
"An important meeting. A strategic vision of the de-occupation of our land and concrete steps to implement it. Specified all plans and calculations to continue active actions. Military budget for the next year. The emphasis is on becoming self-sufficient in terms of shells, missiles, drones, armoured vehicles," he said on social media.
The commanders reported on the current situation at the front in all key areas: Kupyansk, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, Melitopol and the left bank of the Dnipro River in Kherson Region.
Specific decisions were made to protect Kherson. Air defence, counter-battery, electronic warfare and intelligence assets will be reinforced.
There was a separate report on the evacuation of Ukrainians and citizens of partner countries from Gaza.
