The Russians have increased the number of air strikes with guided aerial bombs in the Tavriya sector, the commander of the Tavriya Operational and Strategic Group of Forces, Gen Oleksandr Tarnavskyy has said.
"The enemy has increased the number of air strikes. In particular, with the use of guided aerial bombs. The enemy conducted 30 air strikes in the Tavriya sector, engaged in 48 combat engagements and fired 712 artillery shells," the general said.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 572 soldiers and 32 pieces of military equipment in the sector.
"Four ammunition depots and one more important enemy object were destroyed. Another 21 units of pro-Russian military equipment were damaged. An offensive operation is underway in the Melitopol sector," he added.
