Last night, a powerful explosion went off on the premises of the Nova Poshta mail service, where the Russians have set up their headquarters in occupied Melitopol, the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine said on Telegram.

The attack on the headquarters took place during a meeting of FSB and Russian Guard officers. An hour before the meeting, the Russians blocked traffic on the adjacent stretch of road - from the Melitopol Auto-Hydro-Aggregate (AGAT) enterprise to the former Melitopol Refrigeration Plant Refma.

The Russians turned both industrial facilities into a military base. The explosion at the Russian HQ killed at least three Russian Guard officers. Information about other losses is being checked.

The explosion caused a commotion, with multiple police cars rushing to the scene, their sirens on. After a while, they dragged a car that had been burnt near the HQ through the occupied city to their station.
