On Sunday night, Russian troops attacked Mykolayiv Region with two Kh-59 cruise missiles and Iskander-M ballistic missiles at once, the head of the Mykolayiv regional state administration, Vitaliy Kim, has said.
"At night, the enemy attacked Mykolayiv Region with two Kh-59 guided missiles, simultaneously using ballistic missiles, presumably Iskander-M. Air defence forces managed to destroy one of the guided missiles," Kim wrote.
The second missile and the Iskander hit an open area in the region.
"Several residential buildings were damaged as a result of the falling debris of the downed missile. Preliminary, there were no casualties," he noted.
Two people were wounded in Mykolayiv Region as a result of Russian shelling. Russia is conducting artillery strikes on the waters of Ochakiv.
