Russia has sharply increased the number of assault operations and air strikes in the Tavriya sector, including the dropping of guided bombs from Su-35.
However, Russian losses in manpower and armoured vehicles have increased too, the commander of the Tavriya Operational and Strategic Group of Forces, Oleksandr Tarnavskyy, said on Telegram.
"The enemy launched one missile and 29 air strikes in the Tavriya sector, had 38 combat engagements and carried out 911 artillery attacks. Our defenders are steadfastly holding the line in the Avdiyivka sector. The total enemy losses in the area of the Tavriya Operational and Strategic Group of Forces amounted to 491 people. Seven occupiers surrendered. Twenty-one pieces of military equipment were destroyed. In particular, three tanks, three armoured personnel carriers, one ATGM, six UAVs, four vehicles and four units of special equipment, including a self-propelled rocket launcher UR-77 Meteorit. Three ammunition depots were also destroyed. Another 11 units of equipment were damaged," he wrote.
Meanwhile, the offensive continues in the Melitopol sector.
