President Volodymyr Zelenskyy chaired a new meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff.

In particular, it discussed mobilisation and demobilisation, Zelenskyy said on Telegram.

"Difficult issues: mobilisation, demobilisation, territorial recruitment offices, medical examination commissions, rotation, conscripts," he said.

There were reports by Defence Minister Rustem Umerov, C-n-C Valeriy Zaluzhnyy, Chief of the General Staff Serhiy Shaptala, Health Minister Viktor Lyashko, Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, SBI Director Oleksiy Sukhachov and First Deputy Defence Minister Oleksandr Pavlyuk.

As reported earlier, parliament is preparing a draft law to regulate the issue of mobilisation, leave and demobilisation of the military. One of the proposed options is demobilisation after three years of continuous service, but there is no consensus on this yet.
