President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a telephone conversation with Argentina's recently elected President Javier Milei, as reported on the official website of the Ukrainian head of state.

During the call, President Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to Milei for Argentina's steadfast support of Ukraine and its continuous provision of humanitarian aid. The discussion delved into potential collaborative efforts between the two nations, focusing on investigating Russian war crimes in Ukraine and seeking justice, as well as exploring opportunities for Argentina's involvement in Ukraine's post-war reconstruction.

Zelenskyy extended an invitation for Argentina's sustained engagement in the Peace Formula initiative, including participating in the forthcoming gathering of national security and political advisers. Furthermore, he extended an invitation to partake in preparations for the upcoming Ukraine-Latin America summit.

Additionally, President Zelenskyy invited his Argentine counterpart to visit Ukraine in the near future.

Javier Milei, a renowned television personality and advocate of far-right libertarian ideologies, recently clinched victory in Argentina's presidential elections. He stands as a fervent supporter of Ukraine and strongly advocates for expanding Argentina's partnerships, particularly with the United States.
