The Russian army has shot down its own aircraft.
According to the commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mykola Oleshchuk, it was a clear and coordinated action of Russian anti-aircraft gunners.
"I can confidently say that it was not the Ukrainian air defence system that shot down the Russian Su-25 attack aircraft! It was a clear and coordinated action of Russian anti-aircraft gunners, for which I am grateful to them from the entire Ukrainian people!" Oleshchuk said.
