President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said he has a working relationship with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valeriy Zaluzhnyy.

"I have a working relationship with Zaluzhnyy. He has to be responsible for the result on the battlefield as the commander-in-chief together with the General Staff, there are many issues there," he said at a press conference.

Zelenskyy added that the issue of the offensive is complex: "Something happened, something didn't happen. Something has come, something is missing, and maybe it will not come."

"I believe that we can afford to live in Ukraine with a daily result. If we are ready to bring this result, each of us. This is not a sacrifice. I believe that it is an honour to be the commander-in-chief. Being president is an honour, a great honour. I don't get tired, I don't give up, and won't let anyone else do this. It's not just about him, it's about our words, it's about our rhetoric, it's about our actions," he said.

The president added that we need results in every position every day. He did not answer directly about his plans to dismiss Zaluzhnyy, but said that he was waiting for the results of mobilisation and the results on the battlefield.

The questions about Zelenskyy's relationship with Zaluzhnyy came amid media reports of a possible split between them.
