President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is positive about increasing the production of drones and special units. Next year, Ukraine should produce 1 million drones, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said at a press conference in response to a question from an LB.ua correspondent.

There should be an infrastructure for managing drones, not like the Soviet one, but fast and easy to use.

"I have just had the [Supreme Commander-in-Chief's] Staff meeting and I wanted to understand. One of the key issues is the production of drones and supplies. I really don't like it when we still have the bureaucratic Soviet process in logistics, when 26,000 drones were in one warehouse and did not reach the frontline. It was very noisy at the Staff meeting, but there can't be such pauses, there can't be problems. And then they ask me: what about me personally? There is nothing personal. I'm just shocked that what we've produced can't get there. We will overcome this - logistics. Our soldiers will receive domestic drones for their brigades," he said.

Zelenskyy promised that Ukraine would produce 1 million drones next year.

"We will produce them. We will make a million. We will do everything to make it happen. We know it will happen," he said.

He said Ukraine badly lacked artillery ammunition. "There is a shortage of powder and many different issues, and we need to sort this out," he added.
