Russia attacked Ukraine with 15 Shahed strike drones launched from Primorsko-Akhtarsk in the early hours of 24 December. Ukraine's air defence downed 14 of them, the Air Force has said.
The drones were destroyed in Mykolayiv, Kirovohrad, Zaporizhzhya, Dnipropetrovsk and Khmelnytskyy regions.
According to the General Staff, over the past day, the aviation of the Defence Forces struck 18 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment and five Russian anti-aircraft missile systems. Air defence also destroyed one Kh-59 guided missile and two reconnaissance UAVs.
