The president chaired a meeting to discuss planning for the next year and the supply of the Defence and Security Forces.
There were reports from the Ministry of Strategic Industries, the Ministry of Defence, and the General Staff, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Telegram.
"Distribution of orders, increase in the number of manufacturers. Hundreds of companies are now involved in key industries, and I am grateful to every enterprise that provides the desired result for our soldiers. 2024 should be a time of significant growth in domestic defence production. We will provide contracts and the budget," he said.
According to the president, special attention was paid to the production of all types of necessary drones, including FPV and ammunition.
"Ukraine must become capable of meeting all the needs for drones," he said.
The president added that, as always, there were reports from the Commander-in-Chief and the commanders of the sectors on the situation at the front: specific positions, specific needs.
"I am grateful to our Air Force for the spectacular replenishment of the Russian Black Sea submarine fleet with another vessel. There will be no rest for the occupiers in Ukraine," Zelenskyy wrote.
