The Ukrainian Defence Forces have launched several missile attacks on military facilities in Russia's Belgorod, a source in the special services told RBC-Ukraine.
"These are joint measures taken due to the barbaric shelling of Dnipro, Kharkiv, Odesa and the killing of civilians. The events are ongoing," the source said.
Video of the explosions is published by local TV channels.
Ineffective Russian air defence has already caused damage to the city's civilian infrastructure.
Last night, Ukrainian drones attacked military targets in Russia. Explosions were heard in Moscow, Belgorod, Tula and Tver. The loudest one was in Bryansk, where a group of drones hit the Kremniy El plant.
