The Ukrainian Defence Forces were involved in a nighttime drone attack on military facilities in several regions of the Russian Federation, Suspilne has learned from sources in the special services.

More than 70 drones of various types were used in the attack. Explosions were heard in Moscow, Belgorod, Tula, and Tver. The loudest was in Bryansk, where a group of drones struck the Kremniy El plant, which is one of the largest manufacturers of electronics for Russian military equipment, including long-range missiles and Pantsir air defence systems.

According to the sources, Russian air defence managed to shoot down some of the drones, but a significant number of them effectively hit their targets.

"Unlike Russian terrorist attacks on the territory of Ukraine, the Security and Defence Forces have been striking exclusively enemy military targets," the sources said.
