President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to the morning's Russian missile attack and said that Russia would be held accountable for every life taken.
"It’s 2 January 2024 - and again, the Russian devils attacked. Almost a hundred missiles of various types. At least 70 missiles were shot down. Almost 60 of them were shot down in the Kyiv area. Kharkiv was also hit hard. We are now eliminating the consequences," Zelenskyy said.
He noted that all victims are being provided with assistance.
"Patriots, IRIS, NASAMS - each such system has already saved at least hundreds of lives. And Russia will be responsible for every life taken," the Head of State stressed.
