Vitaliy Koval, the head of the State Property Fund, said that for the first time, the sanction money of collaborators and a Russian oligarch went to the state budget.
"Dear friends, today is the first time that sanctions money starts working for the state. More than UAH 32 million has already been transferred to the state budget. We are talking about the personal funds of such collaborators as Voron and Saldo and the funds from the company of Russian oligarch Deripaska," Koval wrote.
He noted that the money will be used to restore infrastructure. This became possible thanks to the joint work of the government, the Ministry of Justice, the State Property Fund, law enforcement agencies and the judiciary. The Fund, having received the court decision, is taking steps to manage and dispose of the recovered assets as efficiently as possible. This includes initiating the removal of previously seized assets.
