The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) drones attacked two Russian oil refineries in the Krasnodar Region. These are the Ilskyy and Afipskyy refineries. This was reported by sources of

In particular, a large fire broke out at the Ilskyy refinery as a result of the attack, and the primary processing unit with a capacity of 3.6 million tonnes per year was damaged.

"Without it, the enemy will not be able to produce diesel fuel for military purposes. The price of such a unit is $50 million," the source added.

The source said that the drones also hit the Afipskyy plant, but the consequences are currently being clarified.

Both facilities are located about 20 km from each other.

According to local media, the Russians were even forced to send planes into the sky, but this did not help protect the important refineries.

"These refineries are legitimate targets. Not only do they work for defence and provide fuel for Russian troops, but they are also important for the Russian economy. Because Russia is a Goliath that stands on its oil legs. We are systematically cutting them. And we will continue to do so until Goliath falls," said an informed source in the SBU.
