Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov posted on his Telegram page that an explosion was heard in the city as a result of a Shahed attack. Later, the mayor clarified that the drone hit the ground near a non-residential building, smashing the windows. Preliminary reports say there were no casualties.
The head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleh Synyehubov, confirmed that there is no information about injuries. According to him, the air defence forces shot down eight UAVs.
