On Thursday night, units of the Ukrainian Air Force and mobile groups of the Defence Forces destroyed all 13 Shahed attack drones used by Russia to attack Ukrainian cities.
This was reported by the commander of the Air Force, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk.
"On the night of 18 April 2024, the enemy attacked with 13 Shahed-131/136 attack UAVs from the areas of Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia) and Cape Chauda (Crimea)," he wrote on Telegram.
Oleshchuk said that all 13 Shaheds were shot down by anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force and mobile fire groups of the Defence Forces within Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Vinnytsya, Poltava, Khmelnytskyy, Ternopil and Ivano-Frankivsk Regions.
