On 24 April, the US Department of Defence announced a significant new security assistance package for Ukraine.
The contents of the aid package were published on the Pentagon's website.
This is the 56th package that Kyiv has received from the US Department of Defence's stockpile, worth a billion dollars, and includes
- RIM-7 and AIM-9M missiles for air defence;
- Stinger man-portable air defence system;
- small arms and additional ammunition for small arms, including ammunition to combat drones;
- Additional ammunition for HIMARS;
- 155 mm artillery rounds;
- 105 mm artillery shells;
- 60 mm mortar rounds;
- Bradley, MRAP, HMMWV infantry fighting vehicles;
- logistics vehicles;
- tactical vehicles for towing and transporting equipment;
- TOW missiles;
- Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank systems;
- high-precision aerial munitions;
- airfield auxiliary equipment;
- mines;
- Claymore anti-personnel ammunition;
- explosive munitions for the destruction of obstacles;
- night vision devices;
- spare parts, field equipment, training ammunition, maintenance and other support equipment.
