Russian aircraft attacked the central part of Kherson. According to preliminary information, 18 people were injured.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson City Military Administration Roman Mrochko.
"Around 14.30, Russian aircraft struck Kherson. Houses and cars were damaged in the Central district, and at least one fire broke out," he said in a Telegram post.
Update. As of 17:00, the number of victims has increased to 18. Another victim turned to doctors for help. She has an explosive injury and abrasions.
As of 16:00, eleven people have been reported injured as a result of an air strike in the central part of Kherson. The 53-year-old father of the wounded teenager was taken to hospital. He has a shrapnel wound to his arm, said Oleksandr Prokudin.
Two other women, aged 51 and 50, who sustained explosive injuries and shrapnel wounds to their legs, were also hospitalised. An 88-year-old man from Kherson sustained an explosive injury and a head contusion.
Update. As of 16:40, 17 people have been reported injured as a result of a Russian airstrike on the central part of Kherson. 15 of the injured are hospitalised, three of them in serious condition, Roman Mrochko wrote.
According to preliminary information, five people were wounded in the shelling. One person was hospitalised.
As of 15:30, according to the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, there are seven victims.
The youngest victim is 15 years old. The boy sustained injuries to his nose and shoulder. A 39-year-old woman sustained an explosive injury, a shrapnel wound to her abdomen and a fractured pelvis.
A 32-year-old man was diagnosed with light injuries - blast trauma and a head injury. An ambulance also brought to the hospital two women from Kherson, aged 58 and 40, with explosive injuries.
Another woman, 39 years old, sustained concussion, blast and craniocerebral injuries. An elderly woman, 78 years old, was also hit by the enemy. She is currently in hospital with an explosive trauma, wounds to her face and arm.
