Explosions were heard in Kharkiv around 2 a.m. According to Mayor Ihor Terekhov’s post on Telegram, the city was attacked by attack drones.
Russian Shaheds hit private houses and a fire broke out. According to updated reports, five people were injured and provided with medical care.
Later, the mayor also wrote that the drone had hit "one of the favourite places of rest for Kharkiv residents".
"Kharkiv. Five people were injured as a result of the night shelling. The enemy attacked the city with drones and damaged residential buildings, outbuildings and vehicles," the Interior Ministry said in the morning.
Air defence operations were also reported in Odesa Region due to the attack by Russian drones.
