A fire in the Epicentre hypermarket in Kharkiv was extinguished after a Russian air strike. More than people are still considered missing.

As of 16:11, the death toll from the attack on the Kharkiv hypermarket has risen to 16.

Three of the 13 dead have been identified, the Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko has reported.

After a Russian air strike on the hypermarket, the fire spread to more than 13,000 square metres. The fire was extinguished 16 hours after the Russian attack.

Three of the deceased have been identified. The identification of the bodies is ongoing," Klymenko said. So far, biological samples have been taken from 10 relatives who have contacted the police.

In Kharkiv, on 25 May, the Russian occupiers hit civilian trade infrastructure Epicentr hypermarket with two KABs. The fire broke out over an area of 10,000 square metres. As of the morning of 26 May, 12 people have been killed and 43 injured.
