The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, has said that the parliament is not going to lower the conscription age.

This was reported by a correspondent of LB.ua.

"As of now, no official statements, messages, appeals, or proposals have been received by the Ukrainian parliament within the framework of the legislative initiative (to lower the conscription age - ed.). I am aware that, unfortunately, war is a terrible mathematics. It is the mathematics of time, the mathematics of weapons, the mathematics of finance and, unfortunately, it is the terrible mathematics of human resources, of people. You know that the Verkhovna Rada has adopted the necessary legislation to make mobilisation fair [...] so that people stop being grabbed on the streets,’ Stefanchuk said.
