The head of the Kyiv regional military administration, Ruslan Kravchenko, said that during the four-hour air alert, Russians attacked the Region with attack drones and cruise missiles.
Air defence forces were operating in the Region. As a result of the shelling, a fire broke out at an industrial facility.
There were no reports of casualties. As of 8 a.m., the firefighting operations are still ongoing, the SES said.
"Fire and rescue units of Kyiv Region and the city of Kyiv are working at the site, a robot is involved to extinguish the fire, and a fire train is being used," the statement said.
