Zelenskyy in Germany: ‘There is new solution for air defence, not only Patriot’

Ukraine and Germany have reached a new solution for air defence systems.

As Volodymyr Zelenskyy said at a press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, ‘today we have a new solution for air defence and not just Patriot.’ 

After the meeting on the sidelines of the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Berlin, Zelenskyy called the event productive and stressed that air defence and energy were key topics.

"Germany is a leader in helping Ukraine protect its skies with Patriot systems... Today we talked about the situation at the frontline. We discussed in great detail what we can do in the coming months,’ the Head of State said.
Zelenskyy also said that Ukrainian government officials, representatives of communities and businesses had arrived at the conference. ‘Now, at each level, we have specific agreements that will be implemented to better protect the lives of Ukraine and Ukrainians,’ the President added.
