NATO allies have agreed on 40 billion euros ($43.05 billion) in military aid to Ukraine for next year, Reuters reports, citing a Western European diplomat.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg asked member states to maintain military assistance to Ukraine at the same level as in the years after Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022. According to him, the total amount should be about 40 billion euros ($43 billion) a year.
NATO leaders will sign the pledge next week in Washington.
Politico recently reported that Trump is planning to reorganise NATO and is ready to give up Ukrainian territories to Putin. If elected, the Republican will resist the Alliance's eastward expansion.
