President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he had received three reports from Chief of Staff Oleksandr Syrskyy.
"Today, there have been three reports from Commander-in-Chief Syrskyy, and they are effective. Exactly what our state needs now," Zelenskyy said in his evening address.
He thanked every warrior, every soldier and commander who ensure the protection of Ukrainian positions and the fulfilment of our defence tasks.
"Ukrainians know how to achieve their goals. And we did not choose to achieve our goals in the war. Russia brought the war to our land and should feel what it has done. We want to achieve our goals as soon as possible in peacetime - in a just peace. And it will happen," the President said.
Also today, Defence Minister Rustem Umerov reported on the supply of weapons and equipment to our army. "We are working to ensure that the supply is always on time," the head of state said.
The head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Vasyl Malyuk, also reported on operations and the "delicate work of the Security Service, which protects Ukrainians from Russian sabotage and attempted assassinations inside our country.
Among other things, Zelenskyy also mentioned the presentation of the new Armiya+ app for the military.
The head of state also held a lengthy meeting with international officials: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defence, the military, and the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine on cooperation with NATO - in general, with the Alliance and, in particular, with neighbours in the region who are NATO members.
"It is obvious that together we can add more security and stability to our region and to the whole of Europe. And we need to turn this obviousness into practical steps, into how we can add real security to each other in cooperation. Today we discussed our joint capabilities to defend against Russian missiles and drones, and we are working on implementing them. I thank everyone who helps," the President summed up.
