The body of a fourth victim was found under the rubble of a hotel in Kryvyy Rih that had been shelled by Russia. The search operations have been completed, the head of the Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, said on Telegram. The city declared a day of mourning on 28 August.
Throughout the evening and this morning, the Russian army was shelling Nikopol district in the Region. The attacks on the district have not actually stopped.
According to the RMA, there were no deaths or injuries as a result of these strikes.
The Russians fired heavy artillery and Hrad systems, attacked with kamikaze drones and dropped shells from a drone.
They targeted Nikopol, Marhanets and Chervonohryhorivka communities.
"Infrastructure, a non-residential building and a sports club were damaged. An outbuilding was destroyed. There was a fire," said Lysak.
