Last night and in the morning, air defence forces shot down about 15 Russian drones in Kyiv.
This was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration.
"Due to the attack of drones, an air alert was announced twice today in Kyiv. In total, it lasted almost 6 hours. Air defence forces and equipment shot down about a dozen Russian drones. None of the enemy's attack drones reached their target," the statement said.
In the Holosiyivskyy district, the wreckage of the downed drones fell on the territory of a residential area. According to preliminary data, windows and doors in an apartment building were damaged.
In Dniprovskyy district, debris fell on the territory of a residential area, but without negative consequences.
In Desnyanskyy district, debris fell on the territory of a private household. A fire broke out in a non-residential building, which was quickly extinguished.
