The Verkhovna Rada has received resignations from three ministers and the head of the State Property Fund.
This was announced by Parliament Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk.
He specified that resignations were received from Minister of Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshin, Minister of Justice Denys Malyuska and Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Ruslan Strilets.
Also, the Head of the State Property Fund, Vitaliy Koval, submitted his resignation.
All applications will be considered at one of the next plenary sessions.
Earlier, MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak said that there would probably be personnel changes in the government this week. He noted that these would be point changes, not a reset of the entire Cabinet of Ministers, including its head, which is impossible during martial law.
According to LB.ua, this week the Parliament may consider personnel issues. In particular, it may appoint two new ministers - for the Ministry of Regional Development and the Ministry of Infrastructure.
- Oleksandr Kamyshin became the head of the Ministry of Strategic Industries in March last year. In 2021-2023, he was the Chairman of the Board of Ukrzaliznytsia, from where he resigned with plans to head UZ's office in Europe. After leaving, he became a freelance adviser to President Zelensky.
Prior to heading Ukrzaliznytsia, Kamyshin was a manager at Dragon Capital and SCM, as well as a founder of Latifundist Media, Grano Group, AgTech Farm, and Fortior Capital.
On 1 September, Kamyshin became the head of the Ukrainian Chess Federation.
- Denys Malyuska was elected as a Member of Parliament from the Servant of the People party in the 2019 parliamentary elections. On 29 August 2019, the Verkhovna Rada approved a new Cabinet of Ministers, and Malyuska was appointed Minister of Justice.
On 4 March 2020, the Rada voted to dismiss Oleksiy Honcharuk as Prime Minister. On the same day, a new Cabinet of Ministers was approved, and Malyuska was again appointed Minister of Justice.
- In 2015-2019, Ruslan Strilets was the Director of the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Dnipro Regional State Administration. In 2019-2020, he was Deputy Director of the Department for Waste Management, Environmental Safety and Transition to a Circular Economy at the Ministry of Energy and Environmental Protection of Ukraine.
On 3 November 2021, he was appointed acting Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources, and on 14 April 2022, he was appointed Minister.
- Vitaliy Koval became the head of the SPFU in November last year. Previously, he headed the Rivne Regional State Administration. Koval became the head of the Rivne Regional State Administration in 2019. In 2020, the Servant of the People party nominated him as a candidate for mayor of Rivne. However, Oleksandr Tretyak, a representative of the European Solidarity party, won. By the way, Tretyak has now been removed from this position for a corruption offence.
Until September last year, the SPF was headed by Rustem Umerov, who was appointed to the post of head of the Ministry of Defence.
It should be noted that in May this year, the HACCU arrested the former head of the State Property Fund, Dmytro Sennychenko, in absentia. He is suspected of laundering over UAH 10 billion. He is currently on the international wanted list.
