President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in Croatia for the Ukraine-Southeast Europe summit. He is also scheduled to meet with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković and representatives of other countries, Zelenskyy said on Telegram.
Zelenskyy and Plenković will discuss the continuation of defence cooperation, the rehabilitation of Ukrainian soldiers wounded on the front line, and the reconstruction of Ukraine. The summit in the format of Ukraine plus 12 countries will discuss international efforts to bring peace and implement the Peace Formula, joint response to security challenges with partners, as well as cooperation on the path to the European Union and NATO.
"I have arrived in Croatia to meet with Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, representatives of other countries of the region and to participate in the third Ukraine-Southeast Europe Summit," the president wrote.
Ukraine - Southeast Europe
The previous summit in this format took place in February. The event took place in Albania, and Zelenskyy took part in it offline. It resulted in a joint declaration by the leaders of the countries. It stated unwavering support for Ukraine's independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognised borders as of 1991.
