Bloomberg quoted several US officials as saying that the United States expects Ukraine to be able to hold the occupied areas of the Kursk Region for months, if not longer.
The Armed Forces currently have no significant problems with the necessary supplies to the Kursk Region, and Russian troops have only conducted local counterattacks, focusing on the occupation of Donbas.
The Ukrainian military is also benefiting from the improved situation with ammunition, caused by the supply of shells under the Czech initiative and joint efforts by the US and France to provide artillery to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Washington was impressed by the rapid success of the Kursk operation, but expressed concern that the price of this advance was too high. Now, the US, like President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, is convinced that Kursk will be a factor in future peace talks.
