On 2 January, Russian military attacked public transport in the Korabelnyy district of Kherson.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson City Military Administration Roman Mrochko and the regional prosecutor's office.
"According to the investigation, on 2 January, at around 10:45 a.m., Russian troops attacked the Korabelnyy district of Kherson using artillery," the prosecutor's office said in a statement.
There were passengers on board the bus, which belongs to a private carrier.
Mrochko wrote that three people were injured. They were hospitalised. The prosecutor's office reported 5 wounded.
Under the procedural supervision of the Kherson District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation into the commission of a war crime (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) was initiated.
