The guys from the 413th separate battalion Raid of the Unmanned Systems Forces are working non-stop. "We are destroying the bastards‘ personnel, equipment, shelters and various types of material assets,’ the operator explains briefly, without looking up from the monitor. He is holding a joystick, batteries, modules, and tools. The constant hum of charging stations, measuring the impact of screens - everything resembles a spaceship control panel, but in a post-apocalyptic world.

The drones' work is only part of their job. "We try to help our infantry and other related units as much as possible. And not only with drones," the fighter adds, fitting a combat unit to the drone.

He tells a recent story. A neighbour came to the position - wounded, exhausted, wearing slippers, light trousers and no military thermal underwear. "He had been walking for three days from a dugout that had been shelled by the f**kers," the gunner-operator says. The man could barely stand. They fed him, tried to make him hot tea. But the water didn't even have time to boil when our evac came, gave him first aid and took him to a safe place.

These guys are not just fighting. They are holding this frontline and each other. Because war is not just about weapons. It is about those who will remain human even in the darkest times.
