"A ceasefire and peace are completely different things. I believe in a ceasefire, but I will keep my opinion to myself, let it be my opinion. Why? Because the strategic goal of the Russian Federation does not change and it will use all methods," Budanov said.
The DIU chief noted that the ceasefire is quite real. At the same time, he added that the issue of the occupied territories will not go away: ‘it will hang like a sword of Damocles over us and them.’
