On the night of 7 March, Russian forces launched three strikes on Dobropillya, Donetsk Region.
The Donetsk Region’s State Emergency Service reported that at least 11 people were killed and 30 wounded as a result. The shelling damaged eight five-storey residential buildings, an administrative building, and 30 cars. Fires broke out in two of the five-storey buildings and the administrative building.
The head of the Donetsk RMA, Vadym Filashkin, confirmed the attack.
“At least five people were killed and 15 wounded - these are the preliminary results of the strikes on Dobropillya,” Filashkin wrote.
According to early reports, four multi-storey buildings were damaged.
Filashkin added that the final number of casualties and the extent of the damage would be determined later. Authorities, police, rescuers, and all relevant services are working at the site.
