The President of the European Commission said that details of the incident are still being established. However, it is clear that ‘we are witnessing a pattern of constant clashes at our borders.’

While the facts are still being established, it is clear we are witnessing a pattern of persistent contestation at our borders.
Our critical infrastructure is at risk.
And Europe will…
‘Our critical infrastructure is under threat. And Europe will respond to this threat with force and determination,’ she said.
Frederiksen called the drone flight ‘the most serious attack on Danish critical infrastructure’. She added that the identities of those behind the hybrid attack are still being established, but Russia cannot be ruled out.
According to police, two or three large drones controlled by ‘skilled operators’ were spotted over the airport on Monday. The drones appeared in Denmark from different directions, turned their lights on and off, and then disappeared. Drones were also spotted over the airport in Oslo (Norway).
In both Oslo and Copenhagen, airports were suspended due to the drones.
The drone incidents occurred against the backdrop of Russian provocations with their aircraft over the Baltic Sea, as well as after a UAV attack on Poland and a drone flying into Romania.
