Fighting continues in the city of Pokrovsk with enemy Russian groups, which, thanks to their numerical superiority in forces and resources, were able to enter the settlement and gather in various parts of it. The occupiers who have penetrated the city are not trying to establish themselves there, but instead are preparing to advance north.

On 25-26 October, about 40 occupiers were eliminated. This was reported by the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Airborne Assault Forces.

"In recent days, our defences have been reinforced with new units. In particular, assault troops, artillery, UAV crews and other components of the Defence Forces. We are increasing the use of anti-aircraft drones and net launchers against enemy Mavics. Additionally, we are remotely mining the enemy's infiltration routes," they said.

By advancing on Pokrovsk, the Russians plans to disperse the defence forces and block land logistics corridors. The Russians are able to monitor movements in both Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad. Personnel rotation is difficult, and logistics are limited. Both air and ground drones have to be used to deliver food.

At the same time, the Russians are conducting classic massed assault operations across the entire defence line of the 7th Corps. They are seeking to break through the Ukrainian troops' defences, bring the line of demarcation closer to Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad, and gradually establish full control over the neighbourhoods of both cities.

In total, on 25-26 October, the Russians carried out 42 attacks across the entire defence zone of the 7th Corps of the Airborne Forces.

"The Russians did not achieve any of the goals they had set for themselves. Ukrainian soldiers destroyed 64 occupiers and 4 armoured vehicles, 2 motor vehicles and 6 motorcycles. The massive assaults were repelled thanks to the cooperation between units in the 7th Corps of the Airborne Forces' defence zone and neighbouring units from the 1st Corps of the National Guard's Azov unit," the assault troops said.

According to volunteer Serhiy Sternenko, who supplies drones to the front, fighters from the Main Intelligence Directorate and other formations were transferred to Pokrovsk to reinforce the defence.
