Open Opera Ukraine has officially joined REMA — EEMN (European Early Music Network), one of Europe’s leading networks in the field of early music, bringing together ensembles, festivals, theatres and educational initiatives from across the continent. Open Opera Ukraine announced this on its Facebook page.
Membership in REMA — EEMN is an important international recognition of the work of the Open Opera Ukraine team and a confirmation of the significance of Ukrainian art in the European context of early music. For Ukrainian musicians, it also opens new opportunities for international cooperation, professional exchange and mobility.
Open Opera Ukraine will continue to work with Baroque and early repertoire, bringing artists together in joint creative projects and promoting lively, relevant art that is open to dialogue and experimentation.
The project team thanked REMA for its trust and expressed its joy at joining the European early music community.
