The Russian army launched attacks on Kharkiv and the surrounding Region. In Pokotylivka, in the Kharkiv district, a 69-year-old woman was killed in a drone strike. Three other people were injured, including a child.
Houses and cars were damaged at the sites of the strikes. This was reported on Telegram by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
Residential buildings and vehicles sustained damage. Rescue workers swiftly extinguished the resulting fires.
“In the Novobavarskyy district of Kharkiv, a residential building was destroyed and a fire broke out over an area of 150 square metres. Three people have been injured. Efforts to extinguish the fire and clear the rubble are ongoing,” the rescue workers said.
Units of the State Emergency Service, including bomb disposal experts, dog handlers and psychologists, are working at the sites of the shelling.
